Phew!
Got the most heinous part of the bookkeeping job DONE. Accomplished a year's worth of crap in 9.5 hours...not my best time, but you know, it wasn't as bad as the previous year's.
It makes a difference when an accountant or a brother could tell you exactly what you can or cannot deduct. Now that we can afford a proper accountant, the tables have turned and the guy makes bookkeeping a job that even a monkey could do.
Although I know how to reconcile, I never quite knew know what was deductible. The previous accountant was a sheer idiot, who could never shoot straight with us and beat those bushes to death. So, this is a step up when you know what you have to do. The god awful tedious task has some MEANING to it.
Off to bed. Will be refreshed and not so jittery for a good while.
